This barrel matured primarily in a Refill Sherry Barrel and was reracked and finished in an Oloroso sherry barrel for 16 months, enriching the spirit with deep, nutty, dried-fruit complexity.

TASTING NOTES
Nose: Bold medicinal peat smoke, iodine, and seaweed are balanced by rich dried fruits and dark chocolate. A hint of roasted nuts and balsamic sweetness adds aromatic complexity.
Palate: The palate is explosive and oily, featuring intense charred oak and ashy peat alongside sweet raisins and clove. The sherry finish provides necessary weight and sweetness to the smoke.
Finish: Very long and warming, with lingering smoke and a touch of drying sherry tannin. It concludes with a persistent medicinal and dark fruit aftertaste.
