CHARACTER
A Longmorn that keeps the promise on the label: red apple, first sniff to last sip. The sticky date pudding and vanilla custard make it feel like Sunday lunch; the black tea and aged Calvados keep it from collapsing into sweetness. Raisins in a bourbon cask?

TASTING NOTES
Nose
I came for red apple and I got red apple. Ripe orchard fruit, skin and all, with vanilla, plump raisins and a touch of cured orange peel. That raisin note in a bourbon cask is Longmorn doing what Longmorn does — rich distillate, no apology. Warm, generous, immediately happy.
Palate
Red apple flesh and skin, sticky date pudding and vanilla custard. A proper dessert, washed down with sweet black tea and a large dram of aged Calvados. Silky, weighty, orchard-sweet — the apple never leaves the glass, it just puts on cream and cider brandy.
Finish
Lingering apple skin and heady vanilla, then more black tea, black pepper, clove and a quiet maltiness that ties the pudding back to the still. Long, spiced, and clean enough to ask for another pour.
